Spice Girls are currently busy with their reunion tour, but that’s not stopping them from serving as a major inspiration to other artists. Charli XCX, Diplo and Herve Pagez recently dropped an offbeat music video for a new cover/reinterpretation of ’90s megahit “Wannabe”.

The colorful visual for this catchy tune titled “Spicy” is the silliest thing you’ll see all day, and it features everything from crazy outfits to flying dolphins. It’s one of those things you have to see to believe – and it’s definitely worth the watch.

Charli XCX described this remix as an “absolutely genius and thought-provoking” take on the 1996 Spice Girls classic. The trio behind this wholesome rendition made sure to credit Spice Girls as songwriters for the track, despite the fact it’s only a reinterpretation of their chart-topping single.

This isn’t the first time Charli XCX expressed her love for the legendary girl band. She previously paid tribute to Spice Girls in the music video for her and Troye Sivan’s collaboration “1999”.

“I don’t even remember the first time I saw Spice World. I literally watched that movie over and over and over again for three years solid!” said the 26-year-old singer while chatting with Rolling Stone.
