Dido is dropping her first album in six years in 2019, and judging by the songs we’ve heard so far – it’s going to be amazing. The singer just released a new single “Give You Up” – an atmospheric breakup tune which will melt your heart.

Dee Adams and the Australian duo the Opposite Kids were in charge of writing this single. Dido immediately fell in love with the lyrics, because they were close to her heart. “It’s a good break up song, where you’ve been hurt but feel strong. It’s that point in a relationship where you are pulling yourself out of the gutter and deciding that it’s their loss.  Which I can totally relate to,” explained Dido.

“Give You Up” will be featured on her upcoming album Still on My Mind. The whole record carries dance and electronic vibe, but it will also display Dido’s love for hip hop and folk music. It will drop on March 8, and feature a total of 12 songs, including promotional singles “Hurricane” and “Friends”.
