“A weekend with me is interactive way beyond just music,” – this is the bold claim of David Lee Roth who has announced David Lee Roth: ROCKS VEGAS

According to the announcement, he, along with Van Halen‘s catalog of hits, will take residency in Las Vegas for nine shows at the House of Blues. “It starts with the best food on Earth. The fellas smoke their three cigarettes for the year and we all stay up way past our bedtime!” continued the singer.

The singer will perform a 26-songs set in each show, including hits like “Jump,” “Panama,” and “California Girls.” The announcement labeled the music as “the sound of a generational prison break.”

Van Halen was nearly inactive since the end of their 2015 summer tour at the Hollywood Bowl. And although the band’s original bassist Michael Anthony said he was contacted since then about a possible tour, the brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen were rarely seen since the said tour.

Roth played Las Vegas in 1995 when he did a lounge act featuring Nile Rodgers, Edgar Winter, members of the Miami Sound Machine and exotic dancers. However, this show contained only two Van Halen songs.

David Lee Roth 2020 Las Vegas Residency Dates are January 08, 10, 11 and
March 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28. Tickets go on sale September 14.
