Corey Taylor was supposed to tour all across North America this year, but his plans have changed. The lead vocalist of Slipknot decided to cancel his upcoming solo tour dates because his mental and physical health “have been breaking down”.

Taylor took to social media to announce the cancelation of his North American tour. He explained that he’s been in a bad place both mentally and physically for the past several months, adding he’s reached a place that’s unhealthy for him and his family.

“I know this decision will come as a shock to some and may be regarded as unpopular by others – but after taking a hard look at where I am and where I was going, I need to pull myself back and be home with my family for the time being,” he wrote on social media.

Taylor took a moment to apologize to his fans and send them his love, adding that everyone who bought tickets and VIP packages would get a full refund.

Despite canceling his solo tour dates, Corey’s upcoming 25th anniversary tour with Slipknot is expected to go on. It includes a series of dates across Europe in December, including concerts in Amsterdam, Paris, Manchester, and London.
