Christina Aguilera Releasing 20th Anniversary Edition of Her Debut Album

Christina Aguilera’s Grammy Award-winning self-titled debut album is turning 20 this year and the pop star decided to cook up something special for her fans to celebrate the milestone. Aguilera recently went on social media and announced that she will be releasing three special editions of the album on August 23rd.

The first edition will be digital release which will contain the original album alongside a cappella tracks, remixes and rare versions of the songs. Most of the additional content was previously unreleased or unavailable on streaming platforms.

The second edition will be limited to 1,000 copies and will contain vinyl and cassette copy of the record, as well as autographed and numbered certificate of authenticity, 20th-anniversary retro merch, and digital download.

Finally, the Urban Outfitters will stock their stores with a copy of the original album printed on “Genie Fiery Orange Vinyl.”

Christina Aguilera’s debut album arrived on August 24th, 1999 and immediately took the No.1 spot on US Billboard 200 charts. The album sold in more than 14 million copies so far and remains the singer’s best-selling studio effort.
