The first trailer for Neil Young’s upcoming documentary “Mountaintop” has arrived.
The documentary ventures behind the scenes of the making of Young’s recent album, Colorado. The record saw Young reunite with Crazyhorse to create their first studio album in seven years. Recently, Young released the single “Rainbow of Colors” from the album. He wrote on his website: “‘Rainbow of Colors’ is a song about the USA and the whole world. The idea of this song is that we all belong together. Separating us into races and colors is an old idea whose time has passed.”
The making of the documentary has been part of one of the fifteen film projects Young has been working on in 2019. As a result of these projects, the rock icon postponed the remaining dates of his 2019 tour.
We don’t know much about “Mountaintop” other than that it revolves around Colorado. The record is due to be released later this month and the documentary has been created to enhance the record.
