Charli XCX collaborated with so many of our favorite artists in the last few years that it’s easy to forget she hasn’t dropped a new studio album for half a decade.

Luckily, she’s finally ready for a comeback, and her experimental new album will be worth the wait. Charli XCX discussed her next LP in an interview with NME during Big Weekend Fest, shortly after promising she’ll feed her fans with new music for five months straight.

“I didn’t go small on this, I really went all in. I’ve really wanted to push my sound and push pop as far as it can go. I feel really proud of the music that I’ve made, so I really want the songs to have as much of a moment individually as possible,” said Grammy-nominated singer.

Charli’s sophomore album Sucker came out in 2014, and she didn’t exactly take a break from music in the meantime. In addition to dropping two mixtapes and new EP Vroom Vroom, she also collaborated with a long list of acclaimed artists – including Troye Sivan and Lizzo.
