“I’ve been listening to a bit of One Direction music recently, reminiscing. Good times. We made some good music as a band. We were pretty good,” said Malik.
Malik joined One Direction in 2010, alongside Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, following their auditions for the British singing competition show The X Factor. Malik is currently gearing up for the release of his fourth solo studio album Room Under the Stairs. It will hit the shelves on May 17, and he promoted its release with the lead single “What I Am”.

This marks the sixth non-consecutive week Bublé’s Christmas spent atop the UK Official Albums Chart, after spending three weeks at No. 1 following its release in 2011 and returning to No. 1 in both 2021 and 2022.
Bublé discussed the album’s enduring popularity on Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast in 2022. He admitted he would sometimes complain about its success because people couldn’t stop talking about it, but eventually realized how wonderful it is to have it as a part of his legacy.
“It’s become less about what religion you are and it’s become about just a time when us human beings might need a bit of a break. And there’s a little more empathy and kindness. And I thought, man, to be connected to something so beautiful, there are much worse things in life,” said Bublé.

]]>Written and produced for Wham! by the late George Michael, “Last Christmas” was conceived with one goal in mind, landing the Christmas No. 1 following its release in 1984. The song famously spent five weeks at no. 2 behind Band-Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, but its popularity only kept on rising in the next four decades.
“Last Christmas” finally topped the UK Official Singles Chart in January 2021, but still failed to reach the coveted Christmas No. 1. Its wait for the chart triumph of a lifetime finally ended this year, 39 long years after its release.
Andrew Ridgeley talked about making history with the Official Charts and said that George Michael would be beside himself if he got to see how far this song had come.
“Christmas Number 1 has been a long-held ambition for Yog and I and for the fans, too. It’ll mean a lot to WHAM!’s legacy – it’s the crowning glory… Our fans will have a real sense of achievement and pride in the fact it’s become Christmas Number 1,” said Ridgeley.

]]>As it turns out, Dylan secretly released the collection, titled 50th Anniversary Collection 1973, by sending a limited number of copies to record stores across Europe. It features 28 tracks taken from recording sessions for the soundtrack of 1973’s western flick Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid.
The word about the release quickly spread among Dylan enthusiasts, who embarked on a quest to find a copy of the collection. Those who are unwilling to do the hard work can pick one on the secondary market, where they are priced out as much as $500.
The most likely reason why Bob Dylan released the 50th Anniversary Collection 1973 the way he did is a European copyright law that sends all recordings into the public domain if they are unreleased 50 years after being made.
Dylan previously did the same for the outtakes from his first three “electric albums,” Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde. They were released as a box set and also distributed to record stores in Europe in a limited capacity to fulfill the requirement.
