You can love or hate Cardi B, but one thing is for sure. The 25-year-old rapper is here to stay. In between the work on her debut album, Cardi recently sat down with Julie Adenuga from Beats 1 and talked about the things we’ll hear on the upcoming album, discussed how much her life has changed with popularity, and even revealed her pick for a wedding song. Unfortunately, we still didn’t find out when her new album might finally see the light of the day.
Cardi said that she will talk about lots of topics on the album, including the haters, her family, love life. Some things from her life will not be included since she might end “in jail” because of it but there will be lots of the designer brands she likes featured like Versace and Gucci.
“I like all that stuff, but you know what else you gon hear about? You gonna hear about Fashion Nova and you gonna hear about Steve Madden,” she added, making a reference to the recent shoe deal.
When asked about her recent engagement with the rapper Offset, and how it’s like to live with him, Cardi complained that “he buys food and he doesn’t eat it,” adding that she is a “person that sees the spending.”
There were also talks about the wedding song she will pick out for the ceremony. While refusing to say the title, as she didn’t want to sound sensitive, she did say that it would be something from Al B. Sure or Grace Jones.
