Camila Cabello just dropped her first single of the year, but she didn’t do it on her own. “Mi Persona Favorita” sees the young singer joining forces with one of her biggest idols – Spanish superstar Alejandro Sanz.
The music video for this feel-good track opens with short clips of affectionate couples expressing their love for each other. They are prominently featured throughout the video, and shown dancing, hugging and being downright adorable.
The heartwarming video also shows Cabello and Sanz having a great time at the recording studio. Working on this Spanish-language track was a fulfillment of a life-long dream for the former Fifth Harmony
“Making this song with you has been very special and a total adventure. Thank you for thinking of me and inviting me to work together,” wrote Cabello on Instagram.
Cabello is currently working on her sophomore album, but it’s unclear if “Mi Persona Favorita” will be featured on this record. It will, however, be one of the singles on Sanz’s album ElDisco, which is scheduled for release on April 5.
