If you need another proof that BTS finally found international stardom, we’ve got you covered – they reached no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth time with their latest album Map of the Soul: 7.

This album replicated the success of BTS’ previous LP Love Yourself: Tear, compilation album Love Yourself: Answer and EP Map of the Soul: Persona, making it the band’s fourth album to reach the top of the charts in less than two years.

In addition to being a monumental achievement for BTS, this album also had the best opening of the year so far. It sold 420,000 album-equivalent units in the first week alone, which is pretty impressive considering the fact that it doesn’t get as much radio airplay as other mainstream artists in the US.

Map of the Soul: 7 came out on February 21st, and it features a total of 20 tracks, including several songs from their previous EP. “On” found the biggest success so far, and became band’s top-charting single after reaching no. 4 on Billboard Hot 100.
