Bring Me The Horizon are already thinking about bringing out a new album.

It’s barely been four months since the band’s latest record Amo was released but frontman Olly Sykes has revealed that the band is already getting ready to head back to the studio.

The record took a year to put out and received mostly positive reactions from critics and fans. Now though, the band are more interested in making sure they just keep on putting new music out there.

“I think we spent a long time on Amo – like nearly over a year,” Sykes told Kerrang. “The one vibe that is floating around is, ‘Let’s never do that again, it was too long,’ and we’ve kinda got a studio set up on tour now. We’ve started to think about writing and when we want to, and basically never having to get back to the studio and write for six months.”

The upshot of waiting a long time to put our a record, however, is that it frees bands up creatively.

“I guess that last album made us feel like we could literally put anything out; we could go back and write something extremely heavy, or we could write the poppiest song in the world – or a mixture,” Sykes said.

Now, the band is able to continue in any direction they like.
