The release date of Blackpink’s second studio album Born Pink is just around the corner and the music video for the lead single is finally here! “Pink Venom” visual is the K-pop group’s most extravagant one yet, and it set a major YouTube record just a day after its release.

It took only 29 hours for “Pink Venom” to reach 100 million views on YouTube, making it the fastest music video by a female artist to hit this number. To be fair, Blackpink is their own only real competition since they broke the record previously held by their hit song “How You Like That” from 2020.

“Pink Venom” is a perfect overture for the group’s upcoming second studio album Born Pink and it serves as its lead single. This record will be released on September 16 and Blackpink members can’t wait to hit the road and embark on their biggest world tour yet in October.

“[We’re] ready to give everything we have. It’s our first [tour] in a very long time, so we’d like to focus on our originality and include a lot of new songs,” Blackpink’s Jennie told Billboard, while Lisa added they’re hoping to visit more cities and play bigger stages on this tour.
