Billie Eilish’s second studio album is on the way, and we can’t get more excited after she dropped the new single “Your Power”. This reflective and melancholic tune ushers a new chapter of the singer’s career, and it comes with a symbolic music video that perfectly captures its essence.

Just like many of Eilish’s recent videos, this one was directed by the Grammy-winning artist itself. It opens with a beautiful shot of the mountains in Simi Valley but reveals something more sinister as the camera zooms in—an enormous anaconda wrapped around the singer’s body.

In a recent cover story for Vogue, Eilish described “Your Power” as “an open letter to people who take advantage— mostly men”, and added it’s not directed at a single person. “I would like people to listen to me. And not just try to figure out who I’m talking about, because it’s not about that. It’s really not at all about one person. You might think, ‘It’s because she’s in the music industry’—no, dude. It’s everywhere,” the 19-year-old singer told Vogue.

“Your Power” was released only a few days after Eilish announced the release of her second studio album Happier Than Ever. This record will hit the shelves on July 30th, and it was preceded by the hit singles “My Future” and “Therefore I Am”.
