This week was really kind to music fans, giving them lots of great songs to enjoy. It also made our job of selecting entries on our list of best new songs of the week harder, but it is what it is. Enough of the complaints and let’s quickly go through some of the artists that will be blasting from your speakers and headphones.
We have British rockers The 1975 with a fresh new single from their upcoming album, while everyone’s favorite animated band, Gorillaz, gave us a preview of their own new album. Maroon 5, Cardi B, and St. Vincent also join in the great line-up of music acts on our list of best new songs of the week.
And, just one more thing. Weezer finally covered Toto’s “Africa.”
