2023 is finally here and it’s bringing some amazing new music our way! The first week of the new year always tends to be pretty slow in terms of new releases, but that didn’t stop our favorite artists from ringing in 2023 with some amazing new tracks.
After kicking 2022 off by dropping his album Dawn FM, The Weeknd decided to celebrate its anniversary by sharing a music video for “Is There Someone Else?” Another amazing music video to drop this week saw Fletcher and Kelsea Ballerini join forces in a poetic visual for “Better Version”, giving us an amazing collaboration that we didn’t even know we needed.
This week also marked the release of several new albums, most notably YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s I Rest My Case. The rapper celebrated its release by sharing several singles this week, and we’re choosing “Black” as our favorite.
Our list for this week includes an interesting mix of different genres, from Shania Twain’s country bop “Giddy Up!” to Skrillex’s comeback songs “Way Back” and “Rumble” and Quavo’s tribute to Takeoff “Without You”.
