The 2018 was a great year for music fans, considering the array of excellent albums that were released in all music genres. But, 2019 could be even better.

We decided to start early with the hype and made a list of best albums to be excited about in 2019. Although there is not much info available about most of them, the things we do know are more than promising. So let’s check out the records and the artist that should own this year.

Bring Me the Horizon – Amo
Release date: 25 January 2019

The British rockers Bring Me the Horizon are releasing new album Amo in late January, and the band’s fans might be in for a treat. If we are to judge by the records’ first singles “Mantra” and “Wonderful Life,” this release will kick off the year in strong fashion.

Rudimental – Toast to Our Differences
Release date:  25 January 2019

It’s been four years since we got an album from Rudimental, but the wait is over, since the drum and bass bunch will drop their new record pretty soon. We have a good idea about the sound of the album since five singles were already revealed, so make sure you don’t miss it.

Sigrid – Sucker Punch
Release date: 1 March 2019

Although it might seem that Norwegian pop sensation Sigrid has several albums in her catalog, the truth is that she is yet to release her debut. That will finally happen in March with Sucker Punch, which will contain all her songs you loved until now and then some.

Weezer – Weezer (The Black Album)
Release date: 1 March 2019

This is the album that Weezer’s fans have been waiting for years. Also known as the Black Album, the release was speculated for years before band’s frontman Rivers Cuomo confirmed the existence of the album in 2018 while also announcing its release in 2019.

Lana Del Rey – Norman F***ing Rockwell
Release date: 29 March 2019

While we don’t know much about follow up to 2017’s Lust for Life, the fact that the upcoming Lana Del Rey’s release will have the fingerprints of St Vincent, Taylor Swift, and producer Jack Antonoff is a sure sign that we will get something special.  We also have a bootleg recording of Del Rey’s new song “How to Disappear,” which sounds really promising and should be part of the release.
