Belle and Sebastian Will Tour North America in the Summer

Scottish indie rockers Belle and Sebastian are coming to the United States and Canada. The band just announced a short tour across North America which will take place in the summer.

The tour will kick off on July 11th in Charlottesville and will see the band playing shows in Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland before wrapping up the trip on July 21st in Royal Oak. American all-girl rock band Ex Hex and Canadian indie/electro duo Men I Trust will serve as opening acts on selected dates.

After they complete their North America journey, Belle and Sebastian will head off to Boaty Weekender festival cruise that will take place from August 8th through August 12th. The Mediterranean cruise will include live gigs from various music acts on five stages, with Belle and Sebastian curating the entire lineup. The band will perform two times during this festival, and are set to play their 2000’s record Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant in its entirety to a selected group of festivalgoers.

Belle and Sebastian’s latest studio release came between 2017 and 2018 when they presented a trio of EPs under the title How to Solve Our Human Problems. All three EPs received positive reviews from the critics.
