Bad Bunny gave us one of the defining albums of last year with Un Verano Sin Ti, and this LP is still breaking records. Spotify recently confirmed that the Puerto Rican rapper’s fourth solo studio album became the most-streamed of all time in the platform’s history.

Spotify didn’t share too many details about Bad Bunny’s latest achievement, apart from the fact is surpassed the record previously held by Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (Divide). It’s no secret that Bad Bunny was always beloved among Spotify listeners, and he was named their artist of the year in 2022 for a third consecutive time.

Un Verano Sin Ti set many records long before its latest Spotify milestone, but Bad Bunny was never too concerned about the charts and the records while making this album.

“I never dreamed I wanted to be the biggest one or No. 1. I simply wanted to make it… I’ve been doing rhythms since I was 13 years old, writing, singing songs in my head… I did it because I loved it, and my only dream was to be able to make a living out of it,” he told Billboard.

Following its debut in May last year, Un Verano Sin Ti became the second all-Spanish language album to top the Billboard 200 chart and spent 13 weeks at no. 1.
