Axl Rose went back to the recording studio for the first time in a decade, and let’s just say he’s got the appetite for animation. His latest song is a Looney Tunes collaboration we never knew we needed.

Rose wrote the song, called “Rock the Rock” to be featured in The New Looney Tunes, which will air on the Boomerang network later this year. The animated video shows the Guns N’ Roses frontman trying to save the world from an angry asteroid through the power of music.

Axl Rose is also supposed to appear on an episode of this animates series. The video already showed us he fits with the greats such as Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang, and it will be a blast to see them all together again.

Rose hasn’t released new music since 2008, when he dropped the long-awaited album Chinese Democracy with Guns N’ Roses. The band has mostly been on the road ever since, and their latest tour concluded on December 8, 2018 with their first ever concert in Hawaii.
