Avril Lavigne made an epic comeback with new album Head Above Water, and she’s ready to embrace her gothic side. The music video for her latest single “I Fell in Love with the Devil” is here and it’s as creepy as it gets.

Lavigne’s new single explores a dark story about toxic love, and the haunting video perfectly channels this harrowing tale. The video shows the singer driving a hearse that’s carrying her own coffin, and it ends with Lavigne playing the piano adorned with branches in the middle of the woods.

The video for “I Fell in Love with the Devil” was directed by Elliott Lester, and it sees the Canadian superstar rocking a series of gorgeous gowns and equally stunning jewels while moving from one dramatic landscape to another.

Avril Lavigne released her comeback album Head Above Water on February 15th, and promoted it with singles “Head Above Water”, “Tell Me It’s Over” and Nicki Minaj collaboration “Dumb Blonde”. She’ll support the album with her first concert tour in nearly five years, set to kick off on September 14th in Seattle.
