Ariana Grande’s music videos are always worth waiting for, and she pulled all the stops with her latest. Penn Badgley plays her love interest in “The Boy is Mine” visual, which sees Grande channeling her inner Catwoman and trying to get his attention.

We can count on Grande to give us countless pop culture references and Easter eggs with each new video she shares with the world, and her latest is no exception. Brandy and Monica, whose hit collaboration “The Boy is Mine” served as inspiration for this song, make a cameo at the very start, as the duo of news anchors announcing the press conference of Badgley’s hunky new mayor.

As the video progresses, we watch Grande preparing a love potion to win Badgley’s attention and transforming into a Catwoman after a stray cat ends up breaking it. After playing the stalker in You, Badgley becomes the stalked in this music video, which sees him getting his happily ever after with Grande, with a bunch of kitties keeping them company.

“The Boy is Mine” was released as the third single from Grande’s chart-topping album Eternal Sunshine. Its predecessors “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” both debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100.
