Addison Rae is the latest TikTok star trying to make a transition to music, and judging by what we’ve seen so far – she’s actually succeeding. She dropped a dreamy music video for her latest single “Aquamarine”, which sees her going back to her dance roots.

The music video for “Aquamarine” reunites Rae with the director Sean Price Williams and creative director Mel Ottenberg, and it’s as ethereal as it gets. It opens with the young singer attending a lavish masked party, and we get to see her show off her impressive dance moves as the video progresses, perfectly executing the choreography by Danielle Polanco.

“The world is my oyster / Baby, come touch the pearl / The world is my oyster / And I’m the only girl” sings Rae in the bridge of her latest catchy track, inspired by some of her idols, including Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and Britney Spears.

Addison Rae rose to prominence after amassing millions of followers with her viral TikTok dances, and she’s now trying to break into the mainstream with her music. 2024 has been a pretty eventful year for the aspiring singer, who appeared on the remix of Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch” and scored her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her breakout hit “Diet Pepsi”.
