Fans of the legendary music icon Freddie Mercury are celebrating what would have been the late singer’s 73rd birthday. To honor this occasion, a release of a new box-set of his solo material has been announced.

The Never Boring collection includes music, visual and spoken words of Mercury. The box contains 3 CDs with 32 tracks, a Blu-ray and DVD featuring 12 promo videos and a 10″x10″ hardback book. Among other material, fans will get to enjoy a newly mixed 11-track special edition of Mr. Bad Guy and a special 9-track edition of Barcelona – his performances with singer Montserrat Cabelle.

Rami Malek, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Mercury in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, explained the box set’s title. “Freddie was extreme. He was absolute, he was all or nothing, he was always or never. Freddie Mercury was never boring.” The actor continued: “I hope you remember that your uniqueness is a gift, and what you do with it is your gift to the world. I hope like Freddie, you’re able to smile in the eye of a storm, focus on life’s silver linings, live boldly, and most importantly, live a life which is Never Boring.”

The box set will be released on October 11.
