50 Cent received a long list of prestigious honors during his two-decade-long career, and he’s adding another one to his impressive resume – a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent received his star for special contributions to the recording industry on January 30th. Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, described him as “a man of many talents and star power” in the official statement announcing his induction.

50 Cent was joined by fellow rappers Eminem and Dr. Dre during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony and thanked them both for being there to support him, not only at this moment but throughout his career.

“I don’t honestly think my career would’ve been what it was without their support. Dre’s a mentor for the whole squad, really, because he’s been doing it for long before that and was able to guide us in ways without even knowing that he’s doing it,” said the rapper in his speech.

50 Cent broke into the hip-hop scene with his chart-topping album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ from 2003 and dropped several hit records since. His sixth studio album Street King Immortal is on the way, but it still doesn’t have an official release date.
