With only a few days left until the end of 2021, there’s no better time to look back at some of the best music moments of the year. Here are five amazing albums that 2021 will be remembered by.

Olivia Rodrigo – Sour

Rodrigo sent shock waves through the music industry with her debut single “Drivers License” and she kept the hits coming. Sour was the culmination of her work and it’s one of the best debut albums in recent memory.

Adele – 30

After the six-year-long break, Adele finally made a comeback with 30. She knocked it out of the park with the lead single “Easy on Me” and scored her third highest-selling album of the year.

Taylor Swift – Fearless (Taylor’s Version)

Unlike the previous entries, Fearless didn’t offer us much brand-new material, but it kicked off the era of re-recordings for Taylor Swift and saw her taking back control of her catalog.

Lil Nas X – Montero

No song created more buzz in 2021 than Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”. It’s all about being unapologetically yourself and so is the rest of the rapper’s debut album Montero, which gave us several smash hits.

Doja Cat – Planet Her

Planet Her never hit No. 1, but that didn’t stop it from giving us such hits as “Kiss Me More” ft. SZA and solo singles “Need to Know” and “Woman”. It also did a great job establishing Doja Cat as one of the best female R&B artists working today.
