“Old Town Road” came out of nowhere and took the world by storm a few months ago, and it’s been literally everywhere ever since. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the 13th time in a row this week, and here’s a couple of songs that never made it to no. 1 thanks to its colossal success.

Taylor Swift returned to the spotlight and really made a splash with her latest singles “ME!” and “You Need To Calm Down”, but both of them still debuted at the no. 2 spot.

This dream pop-duo gave us the song of the summer with their new collaboration “I Don’t Care”, but still failed to give Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus a run for their money.
Billie Eilish – Bad Guy
Billie Eilish is undoubtedly the biggest rising star of 2019, and her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? repeatedly made it to no. 1 on the albums chart, but she failed to replicate the same success with individual singles due to “Old Town Road”.
