Spotify Wrapped is always worth the wait, and the latest year-end list gave us some valuable insights about the year behind us. Taylor Swift is leading the list of the most-streamed artists for the second year in a row, while Sabrina Carpenter gave us the most-streamed song of 2024 with “Espresso”.
After ruling Spotify Wrapped last year, Swift’s domination continued into 2024, and she managed to top two of Spotify’s global lists. In addition to being crowned the most-streamed artist on the planet with 26.6 billion global streams, Swift also scored the most-streamed album of 2024 with The Tortured Poets Department.
Spotify list of most-streamed albums for 2024 is quite historic, and it’s almost entirely ruled by female artists. They took eight out of ten spots on the global list, with Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish, Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, Mañana Será Bonito by Karol G, and Eternal Sunshine by Ariana Grande coming behind Swift’s Tortured Poets.
Carpenter dominated the list of the most-streamed songs of 2024 after taking the world by storm with her viral hit “Espresso”. “Beautiful Things” by Benson Boone, “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish, “Gata Only” by FloyyMenor and Cris MJ, and “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims rounded out the top five on this list.
Check out the rest of Spotify Wrapped for 2024, and see if your favorite artists, albums, and songs made the cut.
