2020 has been a landmark year for hip-hop, and the BET Hip Hop Awards will celebrate the amazing artists who made this possible in just a few weeks. The list of nominations is in, and DaBaby topped it with a total of 12 nods.

DaBaby is one of the stars in the running for the biggest award of the night—the best hip-hop artist. His “Rockstar” collaborator Roddy Ricch also got a nod in this category, and they’ll be competing against Drake, Future, Lil Baby, and Megan Thee Stallion.

DaBaby is also in the running for two awards for the best hip-hop album with Kirk and Blame It on Baby, making this a historic first for BET Hip Hop Awards.

In addition to DaBaby, the list of major nominees at the ceremony will include Roddy Ricch with 11 nods, and Drake and Megan Thee Stallion, with eight each.

This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards will be held on October 27th, with the simultaneous broadcast on BET, VH1, and MTV2.
