MTV VMAs are less than two weeks away, and the more we learn about this ceremony – the more excited we are. The list of performers is constantly expanding and judging by the recent additions, it’s going to be one hell of a ceremony.
Shortly after announcing Taylor Swift’s participation, MTV bosses shared the names of several beloved artists to perform at this ceremony, and we’re bringing them straight to you:
- Bad Bunny – TBA
- Missy Elliott – Hits medley including “Work It”
- Rosalía and J Balvin – “Con altura”
- Lil Nas X – “Panini”
- Lizzo – TBA
- Taylor Swift – “You Need to Calm Down”
- Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes – “Señorita”
The lineup includes some of the biggest hits of the summer, and we’re yet to find out what to expect from Bad Bunny and Lizzo. “Truth Hurts” singer recently dropped the video for Missy Elliott collaboration “Tempo”, so we wouldn’t mind seeing them performing together.
This year’s MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcasted live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on August 26th. Stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will host the ceremony for the first time ever.
