After topping the charts, setting new records, and giving us one awesome song after another, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift once again proved their domination at this year’s MTV VMAs.
Each of these beloved artists managed to collect a total of three awards at the highly-anticipated ceremony, taking place on August 26th, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The ceremony was hosted by stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, who took on this duty for the first time.
Taylor Swift scooped three of twelve awards she was nominated for, including video of the year, video for good, and best visual effects. Grande came out victorious in the categories artist of the year, the song of summer and best art direction.
