Summer is coming to an end so let’s take a moment to remember some of the absolute bangers which had us dancing all season. Here are our top 10 contenders for our Summer Anthem 2018.

One Kiss – Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa

We’ve heard it a little too often on the radio of late but when it’s not on the radio, it’s in our heads.

This is America – Childish Gambino

Even though it’s a crucially important political song, it still smashed the charts.

I Like it – Cardi B, Bad Bunny, J Balvin

What do you get when salsa meets trap? In our case, some pretty embarrassing dance moves but Cardi B nailed it.

No Tears Left to Cry – Ariana Grande

Sure, summer is the season of fun but sometimes you need a summer anthem for when things aren’t going so smoothly.

Ultimatum – Disclosure

After 15 months of silence, Disclosure are back and better than ever with this summer anthem.

Bubblin’ – Anderson Paak

Paak’s mother texted him her theory of the song saying it “is about the love of money and how it makes people act to get it and how it changes people. The ATM represents the abundance of it and also the insatiable desire of it and the inevitable detriment of it.” He replied: “Yes, spot on!” So while you’re getting down to this track keep your limits in mind!

Shotgun – George Ezra

It might not be the coolest song on this list but it’s a perfect ode to a summer spent driving along the coast.

Come Over – The Internet

Fresh off the new album, Come Over is the song of a summer spent drinking mojitos on trendy roof-top bars.

Nice for What – Drake

Drake’s album is on its way and he’s already dropped several banging tracks this summer. ‘Nice for What’ is one of them.

High Horse – Kacey Musgraves

It has that disco country charm and sure, it’s a tune for all year round but it’s catchiness and versatility makes it a contender for song of the summer.
