Shortly after teasing his comeback on social media, Zayn finally gave us his candidate for the song of the summer. The thrilling music video for his new single “Love Like This” is here, and it sees the singer going on a ride of his life.
Directed by Ivanna and Frank Borin, the visual opens with Zayn racing through the streets of New York in a red and black motorcycle jacket. Grace Dumdaw plays his love interest in the video, and the shots of Zayn on the motorbike are intertwined with the scenes of the couple’s time spent together in a darkly lit room and on the rooftops of New York.
This is Zayn’s first single since he signed a new contract with Island Records last month, and he’s using it to set the stage for his new album.
“‘Love Like This’ is a summer tune I’m very proud of and excited for the world to hear. I’m working on my new album currently that is coming soon, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next,” said Zayn in a statement.
“Love Like This” marks the singer’s first solo release since his third studio album Nobody Is Listening, which came out in 2021 and produced singles “Vibez” and “Better”.
