Good things happen when amazing artists join forces and Troye Sivan and Charli XCX are a case in point. They curated an epic lineup for the first edition of an annual Go West Fest.
Sivan broke the news on Instagram and described this event as a new kind of pride festival, that celebrates the inclusivity, artistry, music, kinks, merchants, and creativity of the LGBTQ community, while really giving back to the community.
This festival will be a one-day event, scheduled to take place on June 6 at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, but the duo intends to make it an annual thing. Troye Sivan and Charli XCX will serve as headliners, but the lineup also includes Carlie Hanson, Pussy Riot, and Allie X.
Go West Fest will offer a space where emerging LGBTQ artists can showcase their pieces – Go West Fest Artist Circle. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to GLAAD and other local organizations.
