Top 10 Covers of The Beatles’ “Yesterday”

The Beatles’ classic “Yesterday” was released back in 1965, as a single for their fifth studio album Help!. The track went on to become one of the most recognizable songs in the history of music and one of the band’s staple songs.

Still, this didn’t stop other music artists from trying to put their own spin on the song.

According to official records, “Yesterday” is the most covered song in the history of music, with more than 2200 versions being recorded to date. Numerous popular music acts have their own versions of the song including Frank Sinatra, Joan Baez, Liberace, Elvis Presley, En Vogue, and Boyz II Men among others.

While it would be almost impossible to listen to all of the versions, we decided to do some research and come up with top 10 covers of The Beatles’ “Yesterday.” While the original will always remain the best, there are plenty of other takes on the track that shouldn’t be ignored.  So let’s check them out.
