The next leg of The Weeknd’s After Hours til Dawn Tour was supposed to take place in Australia and New Zealand this fall, but it will take a while for him to get there. The Canadian singer decided to postpone the Oceania leg of his ongoing tour due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

Fans who bought tickets for The Weeknd’s upcoming concerts in Australia and New Zealand received an email announcing that the tour has been postponed. The singer said he’s “deeply disappointed” by the delay, but added he can’t wait to resume the tour.

Australian ticketing company Ticketek also confirmed the postponement, by sharing a message from Live Nation Australia & New Zealand on The Weeknd’s tour page:

“We understand fans will be disappointed, and Live Nation is focused on working with The Weeknd to secure a new tour schedule. We will make a further announcement as soon as possible.”

The Weeknd was set to perform two concerts at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on November 20/21 before doing three shows in Sydney, four in Melbourne, and two in Auckland. New dates will be announced next year, and fans can use their current tickets to attend new shows, but getting a full refund is also an option if they’re unable to attend the new dates.
