It’s been over half a year since The Weeknd dropped his latest album Dawn FM, but he’s not done promoting it just yet. He shared an animated music video for one of the most underrated gems from this record, titled “How Do I Make You Love Me?”

The Weeknd came up with a concept for this trippy music visual along with the directing duo Cliqua, who were in charge of creative direction, and Jocelyn Charles, who took care of animation direction. The video opens with the Canadian hitmaker waking up in a hospital room with a bronze-colored mask, and things only get wilder from there.

The singer’s decision to drop this music video over six months since Dawn FM came out may seem pretty random, but it’s not a coincidence. He recently embarked on the After Hours til Dawn Tour across North America, and sharing a new music video with the world is a great way to promote it.

“How Do I Make You Love Me?” was originally released as one of the songs from The Weeknd’s fifth studio album Dawn FM, which hit the shelves back in January. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, and produced hit singles “Take My Breath”, “Sacrifice”, and “Out of Time”.
