The Weeknd and Ariana Grande are no strangers to topping the charts by each other’s side, and they managed to do it again! The duo’s recent remix of The Weeknd’s song “Die for You” just topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming their second collaboration to do so.

“Die for You” puts a spin on The Weeknd’s song from his 2016 album Starboy, which recently experienced somewhat of a resurgence thanks to TikTok. It previously reached No. 6 on the Hot 100, but it managed to soar all the way to the top after Ariana Grande jumped on board.

“Die for You,” drew 81.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, 32.4 million streams, and sold 14,000 copies during its most recent week on the chart. This is a huge surge compared to the song’s original ranking, which only debuted at a modest No. 43 spot when Starboy was originally released in 2016.

This isn’t the first remix of The Weeknd’s song featuring Ariana Grande to soar to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The duo previously hit No. 1 with the remix of “Save Your Tears”, which led the chart for two weeks before the new version was released. “Die for You” also happens to be the seventh individual chart leader for both artists.
