Friday night (May 24) saw the Spice Girls reunited for the first time in seven years in Dublin.

The show was the first of their Spiceworld reunion tour and fans were overwhelmed with emotion to see the group perform together for the first time since the opening ceremony in 2012. The group has only performed a handful of times since they split in 2000, so the Dublin show was highly anticipated among superfans.

Scary Spice (Mel B), Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), Ginger Spice (Geri Horner) and Sporty Spice (Melanie Chisholm) reunited on the stage at Dublin’s Croke Park. They played their greatest hits and performed in their most iconic outfits. 20 years may have passed but they all looked sensational.

While some fans complained about the sound quality, others were over the moon with the show and are calling it the best concert they’ve been to.

One fan wrote: “Throwback to the youth. Spice Girls in Croke Park, you were AMAZING!!!!”

Another wrote: ” never smiled so much at a concert as i did tonight. thank you ladies for the best night ever ever ever”

The Spice Girls will perform their next show Monday night (May 27) in Cardiff.
