The 1975 have been confirmed to play at the BRIT Awards this year.

The band have been nominated for two admirable BRIT Awards, namely the Best British Group and Album of the Year. The results will be announced on February 20 at the O2 arena, where the 1975s will join the likes of Little Mix and George Ezra to perform.

The 1975 said: “We’re humbled to be nominated for two BRIT Awards and are excited to be coming back to the O2 to perform on the night. It will be a brilliant show!”

The chairman of the BRITs, Jason Iley then added: “Following their critically acclaimed, third consecutive number one album last year, I am pleased to welcome The 1975 back to the BRITs stage. After a fantastic year for the band, it’s great to see them join an already incredible line up, for what is sure to be an amazing night.”
