Taylor Swift made quite a splash with the re-recording of her seminal album 1989, and she just reached another major milestone thanks to this album. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) helped Swift end 2023 on a high note, after climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the fourth nonconsecutive week.

The final Billboard 200 chart of the year is here, and Swift occupied the No. 1 spot with 1989 (Taylor’s Version) after this album earned 136,000 equivalent album units. It dethroned Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2, which fell to 100,000 equivalent album units during its second week on the chart.

In addition to topping the Billboard 200 with 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Swift also secured two more spots within the top 10 with her albums Midnights and Lover. This marks her 67th week atop the Billboard 200 in total, helping her tie the record for the most weeks at No. 1 among soloists, which she’s now sharing with Elvis Presley.

The rest of the Billboard 200 chart for this week is looking pretty festive, with holiday albums occupying several of the top ten spots. Michael Bublé’s former No. 1 Christmas is ranked at the No. 4 spot, and it’s followed by Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song at No. 8 and Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas at No. 10.
