]]>Usher was confirmed as a Super Bowl halftime show performer back in September and described this as an honor of a lifetime. Seth Dudowsky, NFL Head of Music, said they picked him to headline the show because he’s an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape.
Usher came into the halftime show with high expectations and managed to live up to them. He opened the set with “My Way” and built up the hype with electrifying renditions of “Caught Up” and “U Don’t Have to Call”, before being joined by several guests.

]]>The country legend McEntire will be the one performing the national anthem at the upcoming Super Bowl LVII in Las Vegas, and she can’t wait to hit the iconic stage.
“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time. 2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the National Anthem at the National Finals Rodeo, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary,” said McEntire in a statement.
McEntire won’t be the only artist warming up the audience for the Big Game. She’ll be joined by Post Malone, who’ll deliver a rendition of “America the Beautiful”, while Andra Day is set to put her own twist on “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
The Super Bowl LVIII will take place on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada with the R&B superstar Usher headlining this year’s halftime show. He recently told Vogue his performance will feature killer choreography, major costume changes, and “some important guests”.

Usher released an official statement confirming his headlining spot and said it’s the honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off his bucket list. This news come just a few months after he told Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans that he’d like to take the Super Bowl stage.
