SZA’s new album is currently on the way and it will feature a long list of amazing collaborators – including our favorite pop singer Justin Timberlake.
The 28-year-old R&B singer discussed her upcoming album in a recent interview with Kerwin Frost and admitted she was pretty surprised to see how great her collaboration with Timberlake turned out.
“Before I was like, ‘What the f**k am I doing in the studio with Justin Timberlake right now? This is crazy. But when I heard his music and we started singing together… It’s like, ‘Oh, we speak the same language. The same frequency.’ I understood where he was going before he could finish a run,” explained SZA.
Her next album still doesn’t have a release date, but she said it’s coming our way soon. To make the whole thing even better, she partnered up with several other amazing songwriters on this record. She hit the studio alongside Post Malone, Jack Antonoff and BROCKHAMPTON, and we’re really hoping these collaborations will make their way to her next album.
