SZA is gearing up to release a deluxe edition of her critically acclaimed album SOS, and she’ll celebrate it in the best way possible. The R&B superstar revealed she’s thinking of embarking on a mini-tour to thank her fans for their support during the SOS rollout.

SOS hit the shelves in December last year, and it spent ten non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the longest-running No. 1 female album of the decade. SZA is planning to release its deluxe edition called Lana later this year, and she’s thinking about taking it on the road.

“Was thinking I wanna do an intimate mini tour for deluxe. But ONLY in the most turnt cities from SOS tour. I made a list. Y’all deserve a reward. I’m so grateful,” she wrote on social media.

SOS was named album of the year at the 2023 BET Awards earlier this year, and it’s one of the main contenders for that same award at the upcoming Grammys. SZA recently opened up about her previous experiences at this awards ceremony, and described it as a “thirsty, dark place.”

“The Grammy room is one of the weirdest rooms ever. There is so much wanting in there… All of us are in there striving for something. It means something, even though, like, this isn’t everything. But it’s kind of important that I’m here. It kind of matters,” she told The Rolling Stones.
