Our favorite rising star Sigrid wasn’t able to attend the video shoot for her latest song “Mine Right Now,” but that didn’t stop the director Max Siedentopf from giving her fans what they’ve wanted.

He stepped into the young singer’s shoes, and the final result is pretty amazing and hilarious.

The video opens with FaceTime call from Sigrid, explaining she won’t be able to make it because of a delayed flight. Instead of ditching the whole thing, Siedentopf comes up with a plan B and decides to take her spot.

“Literally everything went wrong. Travel with park rangers, police stops, collapsed sets, loads of bad weather… My biggest weakness is singing, and I’m now in a music video, so let’s see how it goes,” said Siedentopf in a behind-the-scenes interview.

The rest of the video shows him dancing and lipsyncing to Sigrid’s latest hit, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The young singer can also be seen singing along on FaceTime and giving Siedentopf her seal of approval.
