Can’t get enough of the hit single “I’m Just Ken” from Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster fantasy/comedy Barbie? Then we have some great news. Ryan Gosling, who portrays Ken in the movie, is releasing an extended play, Ken The EP, which features four versions of this super popular song.

Aside from the original version featured in the movie, the extended play also contains “(Merry Kristmas Barbie)”, “In My Feelings Acoustic”, and “Purple Disco Machine Remix” versions. The release is a collaboration between Gosling and Barbie soundtrack producers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.

Alongside Ken The EP, Gosling, Ronson, and Wyatt also presented an official music video for “I’m Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie)”. Check it out below.

“I’m Just Ken” became an instant hit after the movie’s release. It was streamed more than 70 million times on Spotify while peaking at No.5 on US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and reaching No. 13 on the UK Singles charts. The song was also nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

In earlier interviews, Ronson and Wyatt revealed that “I’m Just Ken” was one of the first songs they had written for Barbie movie. It was inspired by their sympathy for Ken’s character and envisioned as a “’80s power ballad.” The duo didn’t initially have much hope for the track, but Gerwig loved the demo so much that she included it in the film’s final cut.
