Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro are the ultimate power couple of the Latin music scene, and their EP RR was worth waiting for. Its release was accompanied by the music video for the lead single “Beso”, and the duo used this deeply personal visual to announce their engagement.
The music video for “Beso” features footage of important moments that Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro shared over the course of the last year. From traveling the world to performing and recording music together, they’ve truly done it all, but the crucial moment comes at the very end of the video and it captures the couple’s engagement.
Alejandro confirmed he’s working on new music with Rosalía during his panel at Billboard’s MusicCon back in May, and we finally know why there was so much secrecy surrounding this project.
“It’s a surprise. Those songs are [under] extra security. We’re planning to do the release, I’m not going to say when, but soon. We’re doing it for the love of the fans and she’s my girl and I did those songs with more love. No. 1 for sure,” said Alejandro last year.
RR was released on March 24, and “Beso” is one of the three songs featured on this record, along with “Vampiros”, and “Promesa”.
