Yesterday Billboard named the top 100 Women in Music to give exposure to the brilliant minds that not very many of us know exist. Unlike the artists they manage, most of us wouldn’t recognize these women, yet they influence us every day without our knowledge.

Here are the top three names on Billboard’s Women in Music list.

Julie Greenwald:

Chairman/COO, Atlantic Records

Julie Greenwald has been with Atlantic Records for 14 years. Because of her leadership and negotiations of contracts, Atlantic has been experiencing a hot streak the past two years, with #1 album of the year in 2017.

Michele Anthony:

Executive VP, Universal Music Group

Michele Anthony has overseen everything having to do with sales and marketing for Universal Music Group since 2013. She’s brought in new streams of income the past few years by starting film projects that moved Universal to the fourth spot among the world’s most successful record labels.

Bianca Bhagat:

Head Of TV And Film at Glassnote Records

Bianca Bhagat is new to the industry, but has seen great success this past year when landing Aurora’s “Life on Mars” a spot on Girls and Hamilton Leithauser & Rostam’s “In a Black Out” in an iPhone 7 ad. The industry is highly competitive. That is certainly something to be proud of.

Here’s to Women power!
