Sir Paul McCartney is heading back on the road. The ex-Beatle just revealed the first dates of his upcoming Freshen Up tour. The tour will begin in September, with four live shows in Canada.

According to McCartney’s official website, the audiences present at his concerts in Quebec City, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton will have the opportunity to hear some of the tracks from his upcoming album Egypt Station. The website also notes that it’s been more than five years since the 76-year-old musician played in any of these cities.

“We’ve always had such a fantastic time playing shows in Canada. We can’t wait to return in September for what should be another special run of shows,” McCartney said in a statement. “We are looking forward to freshening up our show and playing some of our songs from the new album alongside those songs we know you like to hear. Get ready to rock Canada!”

The rest of the dates for Freshen Up tour will be announced soon.

Besides these four dates in Canada, Paul McCartney will also perform at Austin City Limits Festival, which is scheduled to take place in October. This will be McCartney’s only festival in North America for this year.
