Paramore made a triumphant comeback with their latest album This Is Why—and there’s more where that came from! Hayley Williams and co. announced a remix album inspired by This Is Why, set to feature reimagined versions of the set’s original songs.

Members of Paramore took to social media to announce Re: This Is Why described as an “almost remix album”, and said it’s incredible to hear their world collide with other artists.

“We’ve long wanted to recognize the connection we have with some of the artists who’ve influenced us as a band and/or who have cited our band as an influence… Some of the songs have been remixed sort of classically, while others were reworked or rewritten,” wrote the band in a statement.

Some of the remixed tracks set to be featured on this album are “Liar” by the xx’s Romy, “Thick Skull” by Julien Baker, “You First” by Remi Wolf, “Figure 8” by Bartees Strange, and “C’est Comme Ça” by Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale.

This Is Why was originally released in February this year, as Paramore’s first album in six years. It peaked at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, in addition to topping the charts in the UK and Australia, and the band celebrated its release by embarking on the This Is Why Tour across North America, South America, Europe, and Oceania.
